Canadian Hazing

Im am in a fraternity (in Canada), and am about to go through hell week (next week). I've heard hazing in Canada is not as bad as it is in the US. For those of you that have been in a Canadian fraternity, should I be worried? Would any of you go through initiation again knowing what u had to do ahead of time in order to live the frat life over again?

First things first, what's your fraternity's opinion on hazing?

Second, discretion is key. You should be more worried about airing your laundry on a message board for all to see. Sad to say, there are people out there who troll around message boards waiting for posts like yours to take to your fraternity higher ups.

My frat says there is no hazing, but people in the frat said there definately will be. I heard that some of the members will be hard on us, but some hav said they dont agree with it.
That is why I did not post the name of the frat. From my post, how is any1 going to know who I am?

Go Canadian Greeks!

But ya you should probably speak to your Pledge Master about it. If anything, they may just say that just to scare you to simulate the stereotypical Greek life.

I'm inclined to believe this.

If the original poster was pledging ALL last semester and then Hell Week is next week, then I might be concerned.

But if he just signed up in January and hell week is already here.....yeah, they're just messing with you.
