What are you doing to celebrate Founder's Day?

It's Tuesday! What are you doing?

Wrong Tuesday! This Tuesday is only the 16th. Our AA has our meeting the night before, we will have a Founder's Day ceremony and will be enjoying a visit with a National Council Member!

Haha, omigosh I'm going crazy. I KNEW it was the 23rd when I posted this and I meant to say "it's Tuesday the 23rd" but didn't.

And very fun.

The NY AA always does a Brunch and Much; however, I am moving that weekend, so I am not going to be able to attend. I am usually too busy to attend any of the events, but I try to help out by being webmaster. But I will be celebrating our great organization's founding in my heart!!!

Well, I haven't joined my local AA since I moved so I'll be on my own. The 23rd will be a busy day for me plus I have a midterm during my night class. (yuck!)

I think I might buy some white roses and hum some of my favorite KD songs. (pathetic, I know)

I will be having lunch with two sisters, although we all hail from different chapters.

I spent this past Saturday with sisters! The Tampa AA had a luncheon with the St. Petersburg and the Clearwater AA at a restaurant in Tampa. We also had several sisters and new members from the Delta Eta chapter attend as well. I think, in all, we had about 45 people attending! It was a fun day!

As far as that day, I plan on getting in touch with my Big that day.

Newport Harbor had a wonderful evening. 22 KD sisters joined together including Alumnae District Director Harriet Ottaviano, and NVP-Alumnae Margaret Watson. We had a wonderful evening. At one point, a lady walked into the room that several of our members knew (I was not one of them). Seems she was the president of NHAA 38 years ago. She befriended out hostess when our hostess first moved to CA and knew no one. The past president, her daughter, grand daughter, mother and husband moved in with our hostess yesterday after being forced to evacuate due to the San Diego fires.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Seattle AA had a wonderful brunch for Founders Day. All the collegians (plus new members in a greeting line!) from Sigma Iota-Washington were there. Alumnae of all ages attended, including Pat Nieman, who proudly wore her new Order of the Diamond.

Happy Founders Day!

Happy 110th Anniversary to our beloved Kappa Delta!

I hope everyone had a great day. I had a mid-term so I didn't get to celebrate but I did wear my badge today and I sung some KD songs, as promised.
