Toyota Celica

I am thinking about buying a celica as my very first car. Any thoughts on the subject?

(I know a few people mentioned the celica in other threads, but I didn't want to bring up something too old)

I had a Toyota. Very reliable for the most part. Only problem was that the parts were so damned expensive! If it's made in the USA, go for it, if not then be wary. You may not have to fix broken stuff but you still have to do the regular replacement of maintenance parts.
