I didn't know this until now. I know that Robert Urich had waged a very brave battle against cancer several year ago and had seemed to be in remission. How sad for his family and friends.

Unhappy

I was stunned when I saw this on the news early this morning.

I met Bob once but did not realize he was a Brother or would of said something!

Met him at a golf tourny and walked up behind him and slapped on the back! He turned and look down at me and I told him, Hey, you are much better looking in real life than on TV!

He just gave that little grin and said thank you!

It is a shame to lose someone at this young age who seemed in the picture of health.

I will think of him often!

Robert Urich's widow, Heather Menzies, is an ovarian cancer survivor and still continues his legacy by being active in the fight against cancer. Having had 3 relatives (including a 22-year-old cousin) die of cancer in my lifetime I know what it feels like to see someone deteriorate from this horrible disease. My grandfather is almost 80 and is a prostate cancer survivor (diagnosed about 15 years ago).

I hope all of us can have a legacy like our brother, Robert Urich, that lasts well beyond our lifetimes in this world.
