Well, advising grows as large and as successful as you want it to. I will tell you, if you do it right, you will NEVER be disappointed. I've seen advisors come and go, chapter members pledge, graduate, and begin their real life....it's amazing to see a sister transform throughout the years...it's what drives me.
I started out as Chapter Life Advisor just 5 short years ago, similar to you, then I became NMOC advisor at a second school. After a year or so of juggling both, I had the incredible opportunity to be a colony advisor and then chapter advisor. With these great experiences under my belt I started leading sessions at regional officer training and this summer presented 3 programs at Convention. You have wonderful opportunities with a national organization that loves volunteerism.
