Making t-shirts

Before you judge me, yes, I searched!

I'm making recruitment shirts for my chapter, and I'm probably going to do them through Blue Cotton because I <3 them. We have used American Apparel fitted shirts before, and I like those a lot. There's another brand on here called Anvil that's a lot cheaper but still seems fine. Have any females gotten these before? Thoughts?

I could call their customer service # on Monday (because they're super nice), but I'm not sure what they would say.

By all means, if American Apparel is an option stick with them! Their t-shirts are by far the most flattering I have encountered. Our chapter uses Gilden tees for all of our t-shirts and I have had no issues with them. I have a band t-shirt that is Anvil and the shape is awful; short and wide.

I just searched through my collection of shirts. I have several Anvil shirts, mostly from Greek Week/Homecoming. I have a black one (size YL) that has since become too short (and it was always wide), so I don't really wear it much anymore. However, I have a heather gray one in the same size that I love. It isn't nearly as wide and is longer. Maybe I got a freakishly nice one or maybe the heather gray doesn't shrink as much because it's 90% cotton/10% polyester instead of 100% cotton like all the other colors.

I do like Gildan and Hanes Beefy Tees too, if you're looking for a cheaper option that the 2102 from American Apparel.

Thanks for your help! That explains why the Anvil shirts are about 2.50 cheaper per shirt than the American Apparel shirts.

Can you recommend a website that uses Gildan or Hanes Beefy Tees? I know of a million shirt-designing websites, but I don't know which ones have which brands of shirts.

ETA: Mwahaha, I searched on my own and found something. Does "Gildan Ultra Cotton Ladies T" sound right? Hmm...
