Cool Scrapbooks

Is anyone here into doing scrapbooks? I was thinking of starting one for all my college stuff (I don't have a job yet and I'm bored as hell ) I was just wondering what the cost was to get started, and how difficult it is to make it look good.

Thanks!

hey juniorgrrl,
scrap books are so awesome, I have made a few . The price and difficulty all depends on how ellaborate your trying to be. But if you go to wal*mart they have some good prices on scrap book stuff, like cut outs, and hole punches etc..
My first one was really neat I made a scrapbook of my freshman yr, and io brought a flat photobook, with the big one page things you pull back, and then I just added stuff and cut outs and glued it to the hard part and then covered it with the orginal paper, thats the cheap way of doing it but ti will still look cool. I hope that helped. What kind of scrap book are you trying to make?

I have to do my chapter scrapbook. I've been really lazy about it, but it is definitely a fun project to do. Some of the scrapbook stores offer classes teaching you how to make them. What is going to make your scrapbook really unique is just going to be a lot of creativity. Look on some websites for ideas.

I have a scrapbook for all of my roadtrips. It's kind of addictive making it... I just include tons of photos (obviously) and little things from where I've been... like maps or flyers for local attractions. I also cut out parts from the visitors' guides sometimes. You just have to be creative.

My boyfriend has a scrapbook-type thing from every concert he's ever been to. He puts in his ticket stubs, any photos or other memerobilia, and writes notes on each show. If I went to the show with him sometimes he'll have me write something for it, too.

I've wanted to do a scrapbook for my fraternity, but I have these huge gaps in time where I don't have any photos from. I actually went through and pulled out all of my pictures from my fraternity, but I haven't even started to put them together yet.
