AKA GRADUATE CHAPETER VS. UNDERGRAD HELP!!!

Hello, lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha inc. i am an interested member of course of the most upper upper sorority in the divine nine. i would like to pursue the graduate chapter of course in my interest. i am an graduate of an fine institution and due to an inactive undergrad chapter at the time made my decision to pursue the graduate chapter more promising. however, i listen to other graduate chapter members in other organizations and they speak of the graduate chapter process as a waste of time. they make terriable remarks about how they pledge undergrad although they went through an graduate chapter. now to me i think that is a little too far with the whole notion of being true to your organization. i would like to know, do the undergraduate chapters look down on woman and man that became an member of an organization through grad chapter rather through undergrad??? i looked forward to dedicating my life to AKA in everyway, however i don't want to wear my letter jacket with my chapter letters followed by the omega letter to represent i went through an graduate chapter and recieve no respect and acknowledgment from any other undergradate chapter. i am much mature now than i was when i was in college. but i would love to wear my letters and represent my organization at the same time not looked as if i went the easy way into an organization. PLEASE HELP ME

It's called a signature, toots. You might want to get some common sense before you pursue AKA.

Be sure to PM AKAs on the board with your information (Name, Location, the chapter your are interested in) so that they can help you in your pursuit.

The link she sent you IS the answer. We refer all girls who come here asking about AKA to that post because we all know that they don't answer membership related questions. That's the info they provide in their individual forum for prospective members.

Wow. You're persistent. She's not trying to offend you or hurt your feelings. She's just saying that they do not discuss anything related to membership with non-members here. Believe me, she's being nice about it. If you had posted this in THEIR forum, it would've been deleted in like 2 seconds.

oh KSUviolet thanks. wow so what is this greek chat for if people cannot asked any questions?? please tell me because i came across this website, because of my interest and i feel like i am back at the starting line again. what do i do? technically it is a general question for any organization.. its just that AKA is the way i am trying to pursue. now if you are able to answer the question in response to your organization. please feel free to do so, becaue the ones that i was speaking about actually are apart of other organizations.

It's where GREEKS chat!

LMAO!!!!!

It's not greekwannabechat! We just let non-greeks in on our conversations, which 90% of them have NOTHING to do with GREEKDOM!
ETA: NPHC forums, that is!
