Man, this has got to suck. I really feel sorry for these kids. 4 of them are brothers. Folow this link and see what they have to go through. I thought they'd change some air filters and let everone back in. Now the school is all EPA about stuff. The cant take anything out of the dorms (they were only allowed to grab books and a few changes of clothes at the time of evacuation).

They are only allowed in for 15 minutes, and have to use that time to lable EVERYTING they own so the hazmat crew can come clean it up. The crew will dry clean and wash all the clothes/linnens, and everything else will be vacuumed and washed and then "stored" till it can be picked up.
Could you imagine someone coming into your apt/house RIGHT NOW and giving you 15 minutes to take what you can for a "few days" to find out that yo are not allowed to return and get anything else and it will be weeks or months before you are allowed to have the rest of your stuff, assuming it all makes its way through the decontamination process.
Of course, I feel bad for the decontamination team, could you imagine what they are goin' to to find? Like ya'll know there gonna be some mofo tryin to label his dime bags.
God I would be SO PISSED if I lived there, think of all the stuff you need on a daily basis that you cant get and wont for months, if ever. How are they going to track papers, notes, stuff from bulliten boards?
I'd be so pissed. The worst part is that people had been saying for months that they didnt feel well and were sick and they needed to do something. The Dorm mgmt company, Century Housing Properties of Houston, just kept blowing the residents off. I hope they sued with in inch of bankruptcy. You cant mess w/peoples lives like this and get away with it. Too wrong. I had the pleasure of living in a Century property (apartments) when I lived on campus a few years ago, and it was an experience. I am not surprised by this.
