I just found out that Mary Norton, the designer for Moo Roo handbags, is a Theta!!!

She will be relaunching the line under her name Mary Norton soon. Here is the website so you all can see her beautiful bags (and shoes!)

I used to be the Recruitment Advisor for our chapter at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC where Moo Roo/Mary Norton International is located. We found out she was a Theta because she stopped two of our members in Target one day when they had their letters on and told them. Two years ago she gave us a black and gold MooRoo bag to give as a prize for participation during recruitment workshop and the events. It was very cute!

Afraid so my friend. Best way to afford such luxury items in my opinion is to do the following:

Sample Sales (online and offline---usually invite only or knowing someone that knows someone)
Off Fifth (Saks 5th avenue outlet stores)
SmartBargains.com
eluxury.com
eBay (be aware of retail prices though before you bid or you could end up paying a lot more and dont forget to get confirmation from the company that it's genuine and not a knock off)--if the seller wont give it to you they are hiding something.
I believe Nordstrom has an outlet type thing too but the name of it slips my mind presently.

In years past they've had two sales a year in Charleston. People line up outside hours before it starts.

I think I suggested once that they cover her in an issue of the Theta magazine but I cannot remember.

They did or they should? I think they should if they have not yet! If they did do one on her since January 2002 I should have that issue somewhere.

I suggested that they SHOULD cover her but I'm nearly certain they never did.
