Hey. I was 16 when I lost my virginity. I'm 18 now and the guy I lost it to and I are still together and are planning to get married. We have the greatest love for each other and nothing is ever going to make that change and we trust each other deeply so we know we're not going to cheat. My parents wanted me to wait and let me say they were not too thrilled when they found out that my man and I had had sex but they got over it. But and can't stress this enough-->stay safe!!!!

This is a great time for me to put DISCRETION to good use.

I've made my mistakes and I don't think it's appropriate to let the whole world know about them. I don't believe teenagers are not mature enough to discuss sex, but...

YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW WHO'S MONITORING THESE BOARDS!

Imagine if your chapter advisor, house mother, or even sisters were reading this. There are things that I am willing to discuss, but then there are private things that I'd rather keep to myself.

As for Silverbug's post--girl, you are only 18. You'd be surprised as to what can happen to you and your man in college...and I'm going to leave it at that.

Be your age people, if you are old enough to play, you can admit the stats . . . if you want to, and you should both not fear censure nor be warned about it.

If you need to be a virgin to pledge or to achieve a certain age with respectability . . . there are an awful lot of women (for men the younger is a greater badge of courage) who have fallen through the cracks because they have managed to keep things quiet . . . Life is hard enough without more artificial social pressures by some self appointed and self righteous moral majority.

I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind
