Would you rather have a broken heart or a broken leg?
I'd rather have a broken leg. I am a little bit of an attention whore. You get a lot more attention from a broken leg than a broken heart.

I'd rather have a broken leg. A broken bone heals faster than a broken heart.

Broken heart . . . it doesn't interfere with training. And the treatment is easier . . another girl.

I broke a bone during a college summer internship at a space observatory. I dropped one of those huge computer tapes that weighed about 14 pounds and broke my pinkie toe. Since orthos don't set that toe (or at least at that time they didn't) it was taped and healed funny. I had 4 weeks from the break to get into high heels for a ball at my Cadet Alum's school. It was painful and a couple of decades+ later, STILL have a hard time finding comfy shoes.
Broken heart? No experience as I met GEN Alum in hs and we got married 3 weeks after the younger of us had graduated.
I would say BONE.

Ha, I thought you were discussin heart failure. I work with cardiac failure. You cannot mend those easily.
A "broken heart" from a lost love interest versus a broken bone from an orthopedic accident?
Neither! I would hate both of them. The stress of losing a loved one would be too much on my health. The bone can health, but may heal improperly requiring physical theraphy. Since I don't want either, I will try to take care of myself.

Definitely a broken heart. I've braved both, but at least with a broken heart, you can do something else to take your mind off of it.
However, if the broken heart was caused by my husband dying, I'd rather take the broken leg!

I'd rather have a broken heart. A broken leg really never heals back to the way it was plus the physical pain I wouldn't want to deal with. A new woman would heal the broken heart to new status or better.

I've never really had either...so I wouldn't know. But from being a heartbreaker and seeing how hard it's been on other people when I've put them through the BS in the past...I'd guess I'd rather have a broken leg.

A broken leg, in most circumstances, heals in 6 weeks. There is no minimum timeframe for a completely healed broken heart.
Given the odds, and allowing that there I have health insurance, a good doctor, minimal physical pain, a reasonable amount of mobility and independence, and no long-term disability from the fracture, I'll take a broken leg.

There are some good things about having a broken heart. After it heals it's not as easliy broken the next time around, at least it's not for me. Mine has been busted up, and kicked around like a soccer ball, so now it's one big hard mass of muscle, with shoe prints on it so it can't happen to me again. I would just say, the hell with it and move on to the next one. I can't say anything positive about a broken leg though.

A broken leg any day. Having a broken heart hurts so bad and it stresses me out.

Anyone up for a game of soccer? We don't need a soccer ball to play.
