how can i hang up my wooden greek letters?

I want to hang my letters on my wall but i'm afraid they'll fall down and crack! I went to wal mart and found this sticky tape for frames/shelves but it said when you remove it it will damage the wall I was planning to screw in a hook or something on the back and hang it up with a pin but i don't know if it might crack the gloss on the letters
how did ya'll do it? thanks in advance
