Kyle,
I'm not going... but I sure as hell would given the opportunity to go again as an alumnus.
I'll probably be stepping up my time and money commitments to my chapter/HQ after I graduate and find my niche in my practice. At that time, I hope the chapter will have me back for LEAD or in any other way I could contribute. Hopefully, I can weasel my way into doing national LEAD stuff
I was at the College of Chapters back in '01 -- you might be able to dig up some of the threads on it here. That was the first year the CoC "returned" to Lexington.
It was a terrific experience.

Here's something for you:

I'm sure you'll happen upon this little monument at some point in your visit. I'm not sure whether or not you've heard the story behind it. It was, of course, conceived (as all good things in our triad are) by a Sigma Nu. He of course wanted to obtain the permission of each organization (KA Order and ATO) before placing them on the monument. First, he called up KA Order. He said to them, "KA, you were founded at Washington and Lee, and we're building this monument. We thought it'd be most appropriate to give you the side of the monument which is closest to W&L." KA of course agreed with this. Next, he called up ATO and said "ATO was founded at VMI before we were, so of course, you'd like to have your part of the monument closest to VMI." ATO, of course, thought this was a fine idea. That, naturally, left one part of the monument to Sigma Nu -- the top.
-- I can't vouch for the story's veracity, but it's a good story.
