Check out a great video about NPHC greeks at my school.

A member of Alpha Phi Alpha has made a great documentary about the history of stepping at Arkansas State University and beyond and I suggest everyone check it out. I am a member of Omega Psi Phi and we were represented pretty well in the video as well as the other GLO's. Its a three part video and quite long but it is well worth the time.

PS: Just in case you wanna know the AKA in the front of the lines when their probate is being shown is my G/F Sadly I am not in the video.

Very Interesting!

Thanks for the head's up. That was very interesting. I'd also love to know when stepping became popularized nationwide. My dad pledged Kappa in the 1950s at a predominantly white school and I can guarantee you there was no cane-twirling or stepping by them or any other BGLO's in those days.

But there was by the mid-60s.

My best guess was mid-60s as well. By the time my sister pledged (late-70s) it was in full swing (er, step!) on campus.
