Convention Update

Sisters,
If any of you were fortunate enough to attend convention in Chicago last week, could you post an update? I think many of us would enjoy reading about special events as well as chapter and alumnae awards.

Our website now features some comments on convention as well as three videos. On the Convention 2008 video are some great scenes of Chicago as well as photos of some convention social events.

I'm surprised more isn't on the website yet. My old Alum chapter as well as one of the college chapters we help out won a few awards, but I found all that out from our Chapter Pres.

I remember in the past, they announced on the last day of convention where the next one would be. I wonder why that didn't happen this year.

Convention 2010 is in Orlando...officially...and it was announced during the entertainment after the final banquet. Swank (the acapella singing group, "Rockapella" except for one member) changed the words to "Up on the Roof" to announce the location and there was a slide show from Disney World while they sang.

Thats awesome! I want to go to Disney!!!
I guess myself and the other Tri Delt out here should work on getting our "chapter" started (with one of us a VP and one of us as Pres) so we can go to convention.
