Who can write Recommendations?

Hi! I will be going through recruitment in the fall. I'm currently looking for recs, but I know a lot of girls currently in chapters that are not on my campus. Are actives allowed to write recommendations or do they have to be alumni? I'll emphasize, these actives are not in chapters at the campus I am rushing at.

That varies from group to group. Recs from alumni typically carry more weight anyway. If you can't find alumnae that you know personally, you could ask your collegiate friends to introduce you to some alumnae in their group.
