So do you guys think that Alec Baldwin should be prevented from seeing his daughter because he told her off?

The recording, in which Baldwin called his daughter a "rude, thoughtless pig," and accused her of deliberately missing his scheduled phone call, was one of the subjects of discussion Wednesday at a closed-door hearing regarding the actor's visitation rights with the child.

Upon hearing the message, a family court judge ordered Baldwin to temporarily cease all contact with the child pending a May 4 hearing.

I understand Bassinger violated a court order to release that recording... If the judge wanted to make a point, he'd put her in the clink for a few days.

From the sound of that tape, out of context, it's pretty damning. Since the court suspended his visitation privileges, it's a safe assumption that even in context, it's pretty damning. That father-daughter relationship probably needs some professional intervention at this point. From the sound of things, mom is using the daughter as a vehicle to hurt dad, and dad, being a jackass happily obliges.

That doesn't only happen in celebrity divorces.... "Little people" do that all the time as well.

Alec Baldwin is an idiot, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He probably went through a tough divorce. I guess he lost custody and he only gets a lousy phone call. When the time comes to make the call the kid doesn't take the call. Then Kim Bassinger releases the tape to the press. To top it off Kim Bassinger is probably having sex with Republicans which is really making Baldwin nuts.

Alec is just a bad father for saying what he said to her (I don't care how angry he was)

And Kim, well hello honey you ain't no better! It's like you want to slap and say "how the hell do you think this makes your daughter feel. It's bad enough her dad says these things but in retaliation you release it to the PUBLIC!!!!"

They both need some SERIOUS counseling and anger management intervention!
