OK, at the university's basketball game saturday, they had this contest they usually have, called "Free Throw Frenzy" it's usually like make 10 3-pointers in 30 seconds, win a semesters tuition. you sign up on your way in and they call someone from the list at random.

well saturday, as we played our rivals from up the road at SWT, they called one of my brothers to shoot, but they had changed the rules a bit- one chance, a 3-pointer from half-court would win, get this, a BRAND NEW DODGE DURANGO.

Guess what,

THE SOB SANK THE SHOT - Nothin but net! Oh my god the crowd went INSANE! it was so cool. we are all so hyped for him (and I must admitt, VERY jealous! however I am glad it was him and not me, I couldn't sink a shot with a ladder at the net. ) I am happy for him. He so is designated driver for like the next year.

Here at my school, they has something like that except you have to shoot the ball from 3/4 length to win the free tuition. So far Bank One(the people who sponsor it) have been able to keep their money On Feb 4th, people have a change to win some type of SUV by having a paper airplane land thur the sun roof.

At our Midnight Ohana (showcase of our bball teams) they had something like that too. At my campus, parking is a bitch (excuse the language) and if you don't have a parking pass for the semester it's $3/day. Anyway, if a person could sink it in from half court a parking pass (worth $134) was theirs. 5 out of the 7 people randomly called up won.

Now if only they'd give out tuition wavers I'd sign up in a nanosecond.
