Aspirations is about a young woman named Katie who is trying to find herself in life. She has moved back home after college and must deal with her 50-something mother who is going through a mid-life crisis. Her friends have issues as well. One is finding herself in a situation that could have been prevented. Another must deal with her liberal, yet old-country parents. Of course, a chick lit novel isn't chick lit without man issues. Katie must deal with a young man she wasn't very nice to in high school. He likes her, but will she like him?
