I'm actually surprised this hasn't been posted. What an awesome journalist and writer. DeltAlum....I'm sure you have read his works before. Summer of '49 is one of my favorite books.

The irony of it all is that he was on his way to interview Y. A. Tittle who, by my estimation, is around 253 years old.
