Phi-Tau Zeta to Celebrate Quarter Century

Brothers,

Chartered in April 1982, Phi-Tau Zeta, the Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA, is turning 25. This makes Phi-Tau the oldest continuously operating fraternity chapter on the SU campus. We will celebrate this milestone with several special events over the whole weekend.

On Friday night, we will be welcoming new members into our chapter, with the alumni (including me!) taking an active part. On Saturday, tours of the chapter house will be given during the afternoon. The weekend will culminate with a banquet at the VFW, featuring speakers from our chapter's history as well as a representative of the university administration. A reception will follow at the chapter house.

The Alumni Association Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday.

The events of the weekend are especially exciting because some of our brothers will be seeing our chapter house, purchased in 2004, for the first time. (Most of us will be seeing it cleaned up for the first time.)
