International Monetary Economics

Hey fellow greeks:

I'm finishing up my master's and have the chance to take a social science elective. One of my three options is International Monetary Economics. Does anyone know if this course is typically theory or will professors address the major trends in the global economy. If its the latter then I should be good. If however, we are going to be studying graphs, models and theories, I am less sure. I am pretty good about persisting until I succeed, but I haven't taken an econ course for 5 years...

Thanks so much

CaliSA

I think it depends on the school - the course I took was theory based, but another friend had a trend based one. Could you ask the prof for a syllabus to see?

I agree. Mine were more theory based.
