The Delta

Hey, I was just wondering if anybody else was dissapointed about the discontinuation of The Delta in hard copy, I mean, I went to National's web site and re-subscribed to the hard copy but does anybody else feel like we should still get a hard copy either way? I mean, for rush my chapter puts the most recent copy of The Delta on our rush booth and i feel that it helps a lot...what do you guys think? (PS Im sorry for my mis-spelling of everything but I'm half asleep right now so sorry)

Yeah, I feel the same way. When I went through the candidate ceremony, I was told by the director of expansion (we were a colony) that when I was initiated, part of the fee I paid was for a lifetime subscription to the Delta.

I love the digital version. It's a lot easier, and much much cheaper for nationals to produce. This is one of the changes that they have made that I totally back.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the cost of creating and sending out the hard-copy was redicuolous.

IF we can save that money, and use it for something else (like keeping a in-house nationals rep on colonizing and re-colonizing campuses for a year) then I love the idea.

p.s. If you want something for your rush booth, use past Delta copies, use the Sigma Nu Rollcall book, and the HIstory of Sigma Nu book.

I personally have never received or even seen a hard copy of the Delta. I love the electronic version, but personally would prefer a hard copy over reading all the stories/articles online... That's just me though. But yeah, if it saves HQ a lot of money, then whatever.
