1915 Purple Green and Gold
Does anyone have access at a chapter house library or personal collection to the 1915 hardback PGGold magazine? There is an article I'd like to get scanned out of there for my own personal archives.

I'd imagine that a chapter house library from that time will be far and few between. I know that Gamma and Alpha are out.
Out of curiousity, what is the article about?

I have the January 1915 issue. In fact, I was reading it this morning. It has articles on Washington State and Rhode Island State, but I don't see anything specific on Penn State. It must be in a later issue. Maybe Mike Raymond has it?
Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

It was in the collected 1915 Cross & Crescent Hardback edition. There is actually an index in front says the article in question is on pages 72-90. The old copy I have is torn apart and only has complete pages up through about page 50 or so.
Jono- you are right the Tau and Eta chapters have little features in there as well.

I know what you mean. I have the 1927 issues all bound together in one hardback book. The 1915 I have, though, is an individual issue as published and goes up to page 71.
What you are looking for would probably be the April 1915 issue - or the entire year bound up.
Good luck. I hope you can find it. BTW, I've done some research on Penn State, so if you have a specific question, I may be able to help you. I have some yearbooks. Let me know.

Actually the gist of this article is supposed to be more about general life in State College, not necessarily Penn State. Yes it must be the April Issue was the cut-off for this.
Im sure someone on here has this!

No information on that, but I did (coincidentally) see that one of the Penn State seniors (an art major) recently drew the chapter house, and posted it on eBay. It's worth taking a look...very nice. Good luck on your PG&G search.
