Thetas what did you receive for Christmas?!

I did well this christmas.........while I did snoop and find or figure out some of my presents from my husband, I was totally suprised with the big one he gave me...a two toned diamond circle necklace.

Other notables or favorites were: a Brighton bag, a Yorkie Purse (a big purse with a picture of a Yorkie on it), Panera gift card, the body shop gift card, B. Moss gift card, a prepaid Visa, $500, Tresor Perfume and Bath Gel, Best of the Joy of Cooking cookbook, Culture Warrior book by Bill O'Reilly (which I finished last night), and as a joke I got How to Speak to Liberals if you must by Ann Coulter (which I have a good start on), and ofcourse a giant caramel filled chocolate bar which I just finished

Christmas was also exciting as once again I got to see it through the eyes of children............at 5:20am Christmas morning My daughter apparently set her alarm clock for 5:20am so when she woke up, she woke up little brother, and then they came in our room jumping on our bed. We told them they had to wait to open presents until my hot chocolate was in hand and my husband's coffee was in his. This will be the last year we think that "Santa" comes as the kids are getting older and figuring things out.

The only thing that was poopy on Christmas this year was that it was about 45 degrees and raining. I think it actually even thundered some. I would have rather have had snow!

Oooo you got lots of fun things!

I got everything on my wish list and then some! My two biggest things were a new Coach purse that I really wanted, and a pretty cream colored pea coat. Other favorites: about a million gift cards, which I've already had a fun time spending , a few nice new sweaters, some kitchen supplies since I'm trying to learn to cook, and several books, including a biography on Jackie O which I am almost done reading.

I had a really nice time at home for Christmas and it was great to spend so much time with my family and friends. Hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday!

haha. You should go read the post in the (i think?) greek life forum. You'll get a good laugh out of it.

I've wanted to read "Bound by a mighty Vow", I may have to just suck it up and order it for myself.

Gald you had a nice christmas

I bought that book last year and I loved it! It was cool learning new things about that time period as well as Theta

I had a great Christmas too, I had so much fun with my family doing the usual Christmasy things. I made cookies with my sister's family. My nephews are a riot - they're 10, 9 and 3. I think that was one of the most entertaining parts of the whole holiday experience. The presents were bad either though. The big items included a down comforter and a watch - both of which I really wanted. Other items included: a bunch of books, Season One of Veronica Mars (for some reason I'm addicted to this show), and Apples to Apples and a bunch of little things like fun socks and "Grandma mints." The "Grandma mints" are an annual tradition that my sister and I receive from my aunt every year and they're Andes mints but since my maternal grandmother died when I was five they're one of the few memories that I have of her.

TwinStar09 I think that's awesome that you received Bound By a Mighty Vow!
