Exclamation pleged but not initiated

so this year I pledged a sorority that I ended up hating, so I ended up dropping. I was not initiated however. I was wondering if it is pssible to pledge a different sorority more to my liking, that is in a different council. any input is welcome.

Technically yes. It definately depends on the culture of your campus and what councils you are moving between. Are you moving from NPC to NPHC or vice-versa or are you moving from a Multi-cultural council to NPC or vice versa. The answer can be different depending on those variables.

Your campus may look down on dropping ("damaged goods") or not.

But technically, unless an individual GLO has a rule there is nothing stopping you.

There's nothing on the NPC level that would prevent you from pledging a different sorority, since you depledged and did not initiate. If you'd been initiated, it would be another story.

I can't speak for other councils, though.

Like Drolefille pointed out, though, it may be difficult to join another sorority, depending on your campus culture.

If it was NPC you rushed, you must wait one year from the date you signed your preference/bid card before you can rush another NPC org.
