Briefcase Suggestions?
Okay, I need a good, not ugly, briefcase/laptop case.
I always carry my laptop, a spare battery, a full size Franklin Covey planner, a portfolio, and usually assorted files and publications.
Any suggestions appreciated~I'm sick of carrying 3 bags daily!

I suggest a halliburton briefcase with numerous security measures. Fingerprint scan, a security code that resets after each use...I'm quite partial to these on my travels. Can't tell you how many times they've saved my rear.

I have a nice diane von furstenberg laptop bag. I got it at marshalls though, so I can't give any suggestions on where to find it. Target had a isaac mizrahi one that i was considering too. i used to have a nine west one, but since i got a larger lap top i had to get the diane von furstenberg one.

I have a coach briefcase and I love it. Most of them would fit a laptop and i believe they might even have a specific briefcase with a section for a laptop. You should check the website (coach.com).

www.timbuk2.com I dunno if you were looking for something more "professional" but EVERYONE here in SF has these bags... and you can customize them.

How about the Kate Spade messenger bag? I know a lot of people use that as a laptop bag.

This is GP's recommended solution. I put my laptop in a sleeve for extra protection.

I know this will come as a shock, but I'm actually kinda over Vera. I don't think I've bought a new one in over a year.
I have a KS messenger, and it's not big enough for all of my stuff. I usually carry my laptop bag (which is fug), a huge messenger, plus a purse. I really like the Coach briefcases, but I don't know if that's in the budget now. I found a Dooney I like, but not sure if I like it ENOUGH.

ebags.com, my friend. They have TONS of options. A few years ago, when I searched on there for "women's laptop cases", there were like 6, and now, there are hundreds. I just got my mom the KC reaction laptop case for Hannukah, and she loves it.

I use the black microfiber one- not too "vera" looking so it's still professional. eBags is also awesome, as DeltaBetaBaby mentioned - and I think you can even search by laptop on there to make sure it will fit.

If I was your mom I would put you up for adoption because you purchased a KC reaction anything.

I found Gina B.'s line of laptop bags through Ebags.com. I think they are really cute. Since I dont have a laptop (or a laptop bag), I cant speak on quality but it claims to be 100% genuine leather.
http://ginabinternational.com/capriccio-black.html - Here is the link to the company's webste - the Capriccio, which is my favorite bag.
Ebags.com sells the bags for $225 which is 10% less than the designer's site lists. Here is that link as well - http://www.ebags.com/gina_b/capricci...?modelid=85155

I like Hobo International's laptop bags. You can find them at department stores like Dillards, Macys, etc. I've even seen the on occassion at TJMaxx too.
Here are my two favorites..

The Rendita
