Thumbs up 2006 "All Greek Football Team" Nominations

Nominations for the 2006 NIC "ALL GREEK FOOTBALL TEAM" are being accepted by Jay at the NIC.

The nomination list is quite interesting. If you have members of your school and they are D-1, D-1 AA, D-II or D-III they can be nominated. (Sorry NAIA schools).

GOOD LUCK!
DN TKE

Oh this is much too priceless...I swear I hadn't seen that many PiKA's on a list since I looked at their chapter roll awhile back. Jesus.

I counted 24, however there are quite a bit of Sigma Nu's, Lambda Chi's and Beta's on there.

Still I'm pretty sure those old pike kids dominate it.

Glad to see my alma mater's football player fraternity of my era is still the football fraternity decades later!

Amazing list and thank you for placing it in GC.

The coach at my alma mater does not want HIS players to be in Fraterities, what a shame.

This just goes to show that both can go hand in hand.

The new film "We Are Marshall" stars Matthew McConaughey, a Delta Tau Delta from the University of Texas.
Many of the football players killed in that 1970 disaster were members of Pi Kappa Alpha. Coach Bob Pruett, who later took Marshall from Division I-AA to Division I was also a Pike alumnus of that chapter.
Coach Red Dawson, played in the film by actor Matthew Fox, lettered at Florida State in the early1960s and was a member (I think) of Kappa Alpha Order there.

Turns out Red Dawson was a Lambda Chi at FSU. Sorry for the mistake.

I think what he means, if that if it was typed in a left-justified format by category, it would be easier on the eyes to read.
