Paramedic Allegedly Assaulted (U. of Minnesota)

The Jan. 18 Minnesota Daily reports an alleged assault on a paramedic by a member of Chi Psi fraternity. (The article in the police report section has the sub-heading “Assault at The Lodge.”) It’s been mentioned a few times before on GC – it’s not a good idea to forcibly resist or assault police, firefighters or paramedics, no matter how much fun it might seem like at the time.

. . . According to the police report, officers and emergency medical services responded to a call at the fraternity shortly before 2 a.m. for an unconscious female.
While on the scene, a member of the fraternity assaulted one of the paramedics, police said.
Attacking a police officer, paramedic or firefighter elevates a simple assault to fourth-degree assault, a felony.

I can't believe you even felt it necessary to say this. Paramedics, in fact, all EMTS do not get paid enough to put up with this kind of shit. Good job guys, you didn't make yourselves look bad enough with your Borat appearance-now you're fucking with emergency responders.
