Bid Day Ideas?

Hi ladies!
I'm Alpha Beta's new VPMD. We're doing Winter Recruitment this year and I'm currently planning Bid Day. I have some ideas but an extremely extremely tight budget. I want to make these girls feel special, get excited about joining AGD and get a chance to interact/mingle with our sisters. So any super cheap ideas would be FANTASTIC!
Thanks!

You could...rent/borrow a karaoke machine and have a bunch of get together games to play... I know that my chapter always had a great time doing this on bid day.. Gtown also has winter recruitment.

In the past they have gone bowling and ice skating.

One of the biggest things we do at Gtown is decorate the doors of the new girls, since most all students live on campus. The Seniors (or those who want to) would decorate the doors with signs, letters and streamers while the NMs and the rest of the chapter were having fun. So that when the day was over and the girls returned to their rooms, they would be reminded of the day they just had. This is also a great time to teach the NMs songs and cheers.

Is your school big into "Goodie Bags" on Bid Day? I find this fasinating that some schools give out this big bag of AGD goodies to the new girls... like at Convention. We don't do this at Gtown because we just don't have the funds. The girls get a sweatshirt with letters on it when they come out of the chapel but they don't get letter bags till later on. And then their sismom and family will give them items and things the rest of the 6 weeks... items that were given them.
