I was thinking about buying one for Christmas and was wondering if anybody had one yet. I'm curious to know the difference between the two models that sony is offering. Can you get the cheaper one and still play all of the games on it?

If you're buying one for yourself for Christmas, I'd wait until after Christmas. You're going to have to pay big bucks on Ebay to get one before...

Yup. It's basically sold out all over the USA.

I actually saw people lining up for it two days BEFORE it was released outside Best Buy in my town, what the hell?

Only TWO Days???!!!
Some places around here lines started a week before.
And this was with the knowledge that only "X"in stock.

If one realy wants one now, then give your money away to those selling it on E-Bay.

If you want it at true cost, wait for supply to catch up with demand. Or demand to lower a bit.

Well, it's a small town, I honestly wouldn't have been suprised if it was a week or more before in larger towns.

However, it's pretty dumb to be camping outside the store to get the latest MUST-HAVE! of the season, or one of them. Aren't most first released of a new generation of consoles generally bugged and screw up at first? Hrm.

Does anyone know if they plan to make a Mortal Kombat for this? Armegeddon can't be the last one, Sub-Zero's ending was stupid.
