Let me start. I have like 22 preset scenes. How best to use them? And what do they actually do, in terms of the camera?

I just got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi 10.1 megapixel camera and am just getting used to some of the settings. The main settings are these:
  • Program AE (Automatic Exposure)
  • Shutter-priority AE
  • Aperture-priority AE
  • Manual Exposure
  • Automatic Depth-of-field AE
  • Full Auto
  • Portrait
  • Landscape
  • Close-up
  • Sports
  • Night Portrait
  • Flash Off
It will also let you play with the white balance, ISO speed, and focus points. If anyone has this specific camera, or otherwise has any suggestions as to how to take full advantage of these settings, please post.
