You could use Sig Kap, maybe, or Sigma K's. I've heard lots of other nicknames, mostly complementary, but still not stuff I'd put on a T-shirt. I've also heard negative nicknames (unfortunately), but I think there are some of those for every sorority, and sadly they're usually used more often than the nice ones. Good Luck!

Okay, old ass thread, but better late than never, right?? Snakey K wasn't mentioned - - and that's the one I've heard the most!!
Anyone have any others that aren't above?? I don't think I've ever heard anything else...

You know, we tried Snakey K on our campus for a year, and it just did NOT go over well. Now we're known as Sigma's which has been much more positive. (think, Theta's, Kappa's. it's just easier.)

Also, the one my boyfriend like to affectionately call us b/c of our letters.
The EEK! girls.
He claims that the greek letters for Sigma Kappa look like they say Eek!

My mom calls us Eee- kay. She was visiting somewhere down in the shouthwest and when she came back she told me she way house with Eee-Kay on it, but the other way, so it was a Keh house. What she saw was Kappa Sigma. I loved it. And now I'm dating a Kappa sig, so she just doesn't try anymore.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any others.
My one friend called us the sigma dekappatators. I thought it was cute, especially for something competitive like intramurals.
Wasn't there another sorority that's called the sigmas as their nickname? We're the only sigmas on my campus, so we do use that one a lot.

I dont believe Tri-Sigma and Sigma Kappa share a campus anywhere?
Haha, as the previous WSU alum said, we're Sigmas here.

They go by Tri Sigma or Sigmas and usually if they're on campus they'll use Sigmas. We can use Sigmas or SigKaps or Sigma K's or Snakey K's. (I like SigKap myself) So really we have more options
Other than Tri Sigma I don't know of anyone else because no one else starts with a Sigma. A local perhaps? Or a fraternity?

Did you know at Marietta College our chapter's nickname is Kappa(s)?

Ah, SDT, thanks... my only experience with them is on GC But I wouldn't expect the others to by just Sigma (could be wrong of course!)
The second part is surprising that there is no KD or KKG on campus. But cool nonetheless
