Question Windows Media Player - Help!

One of the songs that I ripped reads as being over 15 minutes long but in reality it's 5 minutes followed by 10 minutes of dead air. The track after is a hidden track so I realized that's why there's dead air.

My question is, is there a way to edit the length of the song so I don't keep thinking my player is broken?

Yes but not in windows media player, some ripping/burning software lets you crop tracks though.
