There is no chapter at UCSB; it was dissolved a year or two ago. Go to the chapter locator on the AKA National website to find the graduate chapter within the Santa Barbara area. Contact the graduate chapter to findout where to go from here if you're interested in pursuing membership.

I did not attend UCSB. I've seen it. It's a beautiful cozy beach town. The University is next to the ocean. The kids surf whenever...
As far as the education goes, the University of California system is pretty good.
Depends on your "major". You want to go where you will have the best program and greatest amount of support.
And you can ask that kind of information when you go to the interview.

soror immAKAalate, i work in a career/transfer center at a community college
and UCSB has a good reputation, like the soror said UC's are good schools in general. UCSB is one of the most competitive of them outside of UCLA of course. Good luck and if i can assist you in any further info on UCSB or another cali school let me know, take care

skeewee... soror AKA2D '91, i know i pop in and out of here every once in a blue moon, lol. its nice to see that you are keeping things in order  i have been so busy, but i am happy to say i am finishing my last class and soon i will have my graduate degree...yeah! hope all is well with you... i look forward to coming in more often
soror Steeltrap, now you know i'm bout to hit you up for some road tripping, unless you got married since the last time we talked i need to relieve some stress, can you say TJ... or Vegas. any way hopefully we can meet up in the near future....skeewee.... i'm serious lets go...
