Post Does your chapter have Owl Men or similar little brother orgs?

I'm just wondering if your chapter has a organization like Owl Men or Chi O Beau's? Those are just a few names I have heard that refer to Big/Little Brother Groups for Chi Omegas. If so, what do you call them? How many guys are in the group? And how does it work? Just curious

Not to brag but I started at our chapter the "Omega Chi Guy".

I did the Hootieville flyer (our monthly newspaper) and decided each month to have a guy elected who was always there for us- really supportive.

The funny thing is when a PIKE running for Student Government President called me and told me I had to make him Omega Chi Guy so he would win the election!!

A. I did not
B. He won anyway

It did not matter what "guy" he was and we are still best of friends today! Sue

We currently don't do that, but I really want to get that rolling. Thats why I'm wondering how and stuff. I've heard of the "Omega Chi Guy" - thats cute! Pikes are the sweetest guys! How could he not win?

Cool

HELLO AND WELCOME CHIOCUTIE1962.

My chapter recognizes a Chi Omega Prince at fromal. This person is usually a boyfriend who has helped our chapter out a lot with stuff like Rush or fundraising or something like attending our events.
Then we have a Chi Omega King which is awarded to a father who has helped us out tremendously. Likewise the Chi Omega Queen is a mother who has done similar things.

At Montana State University, the Chi Omega's have a contest called the Chi-O Cutie, where each of the fraternities has one of its members compete in a pageant type thing. We didn't win this year, the Sigma Chi's did I think Anyway, I'm pretty sure i've been anointed as the contestant from our house for next year! Anyway, the girls from Chi Omega are the best at our campus, and if they're like that everywhere, you guys will always be so popular and huge!

Question

Maybe I'm wrong but I heard that Chi Omega chapters are NOT allowed to host or participate in any type of Beauty Pageants or contests, philanthropy related or not. If thats not the case someone let me know so we can start Maybe the wrong info was told to my chapter. At least thats the way it's been since I went through.

Talking

I've heard the same thing, too, ChiOcutie. Its prolly some informal thing. Of course if it involves guys then it may be more like a "best of breed" kennel show than a beauty pageant...lol, just teasing!
