License Plate
I am looking for an online dealer for a Sigma Chi license plate - not a holder, but a full tag with letters. Really prefer not to spend over $25.00.
Any good vendors?

Missouri is the only state that I know of that allows non-profit license plates. I do not believe any other states have fraternity centered plates. Unless you live in a state that does not require a front license plate (like Kansas) and you are looking for one of those ones that resemble college ones, I can't help you.

I've seen some DST plates here in North Carolina. They actually send an ad with your licence renewal that says if you have a group that would like custom plates, let them know and they can arrange something. I would like to get some ASAs together and do that, but there isn't a HIGH ASA concentration in NC, and I'm too lazy to make up a mailing to send to everyone.
PS...I would prefer not to spend $25 for my regular license plates...and people in hell want ice water.

Try here. (For some reason, they call them license plate covers.) Cost = $16.95.

You have to have at least 300 car owners pre-pay before they'll make the special tags. That's the way that most states that do special tags work, I think.
But I understood OldSigmaChi to be talking about decorative plates like one would put on the front of the car (if the state in question allows that), not state-issued tags.

All states that I know of will not make car tags. They will make car tags for schools but the schools will only be in asigned numbers.
There has to be enough to make it worth while for states to do it. It also has to be approved by the license beurea!
Do like I did and have a vanity plate and is the only one in Kansas.

One of my chapter sisters had a license plate that said "ASA 1901" (1901 is our founding date). It wasn't anything she asked for, just an amazing coincidence.
Pennsylvania has special license plates for 139 different groups.

I think you can do that in Ga too but I think it's 500 people annually.

If I'm not mistaken, either Kentucky or Tennessee has GLO license plates.
I was just about to post this in the "Sightings" thread - I was driving behind AGD 7 just yesterday!

A KD I knew in college had a vanity plate that read "KD2NV"
 It was really cute.
