Talking Favorite sister

I know we love all our sisters but did you have one that you really had (or still have) a connection with? There were two twins at our chapter that were the best! Stacie was my sorority daughter and Tracie - the best friend anyone could want! In fact - we are going to Florida this June - I can't wait!

I felt a strange connection with my roomie from the first day we met. We were paired up and didn't know each other at all. We rushed and became Chi Omegas!! So, I got a roomie, best friend, and a sister in Lisa!!

I have another sister who I have really become close to this past years. We see "eye to eye" on just about everything!!

I intend to keep all my sisters, but especially those two girls in my life forever.

My little (sorority) sister is wonderful and I love the story of how we got to know each other. I was a sophomore in the honors program and was hosting prospective high school students. I signed up for Jenny b/c she was interested in my major. She walked into my room which is covered in XO stuff and asked me how I liked being a Chi Omega. At this point I was impressed that she knew greek letters. We stayed up all night talking about greek life, XO, and college but she didn't think she'd go to school here. She left me the sweetest note the next morning saying thank you for being a great host and said "who knows, I might end up at UTC." We kept in touch over the summer and she did go to UTC, did pledge XO even though she's a KD legacy, and did become my little sister. Cool huh? (Sorry for rambling. I graduate in 1 month and it's really hitting me what all I'm leaving.)

Heather--I'm not a XO, but that is the SWEETEST story!!!! You are so lucky; and the story is so ironic too! I really want a lil sister I will hopefully get one this fall after Rush!!

Good luck with your life after graduation!! I'm sure you must be so excited!!

Ironically there was a group of girls I used to hang out with in middle school and the first two years of high school. We grew apart...or at least I did.
Then we all reunited at RUSH and three of us ended up getting into Chi Omega. I just remembered how weird it was that Chi Omega brought us all back together. I'm certainly grateful.

Unhappy

Tonight is the night our Seniors go Alum. Perhaps I'm getting pre-emotional but I just love all my sisters. There are a few that are just incredible and phenomenal women. They are leaders, role models, friends...
One of our seniors signed our guestbook this weekend and here is what she wrote...
My beautiful Zeta Delta Sisters,
It is with great pride and overwhelming sadness that I write this entry. I am so proud of all the support you girls gave me this week for Greek Week. There was no personal trophy involved, but you showed your spirit more than any other organization and you had a blast doing it. Thank you for supporting me and the Greek system this week. I also want to say congratulations to us all for the wonderful awards we won at the banquet. We deserve them all and I am so proud (as always) to wear the X and the horse shoe. I am writing this with sadness in my heart because tomorrow, I will go alum. And although this is just begining and not the end, I am saddend because I am leaving a chapter with so much love, sisterhood, dedication, and excellence. I know we are leaving it in the best of hands and we still have so much time to spend together with formal and so many weddings this summer, but I just wanted you all to know that I am excited for tomorrow night, but extremely sad as well. Thank you for four years of love, memories, and laughter. Chi Omega has truly made me the woman I am today. I love you all.
Chi Omega Zeta Delta love forever,
Chrissy

I just felt that her words were so true, and even though I know you all don't know her...she's a main reason why I went Chi Omega and I will be forever grateful to her.
Man, I'm a sap...
