'Law and Order' Appreciation thread
I LOVE LAW AND ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is just the greatest series ever..
The 'Law and Order' tree
1) "Law and Order"
2) "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit"
3) "Law and Order: Criminal Intent"
4) "Law and Order: Crime and Punishment"
and drumroll please.....
There is a new Law and Order series on the horizon......
"Law and Order: Trial By Jury" ....this one will focus on the jury's part in the courtroom
yay!!!!!
i hope "Law and Order: Crime and Punishment" comes back. did anyone else see this? it was a summer series that showed real life trials. i thought it was so fascinating.
"Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" is defintely the best one.
dick wolf is a genius!!
p.s. i cannot believe that lenny briscoe is leaving "Law and Order" tomorrow. no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i still love my Law and Order shows
NOTE: this is an appreciation thread. no negative stuff can be said here!! please

Can I say I hate Elisabeth Rohm? Pleeeeease?
Other than that I'm a fanatic. I miss the old days w/ Logan, Robinette & Ben Stone.

My mother is in an early episode of the original Law & Order. They were filming in the courthouse, and she was walking in the background. She used to see Chris Noth all the time.

I loooove Law and Order! All of them. It will be sad to see Jerry Orbach (Det. Briscoe) leave tomorrow. But at least he'll return on Trial by Jury. I hope he's as much of a smart ass as he is on the series now. I love that USA and TNT have reruns on. If nothing else is on TV, at least I can rely on my L&O reruns.
I also liked Crime and Punishment. Very interesting.

My favorite is SVU,
I saw Jerry Orbach on Broadway in 1967 or 68, the season he won the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical for Promises, Promises. He does play that acerbic wit well, doesn't he?

Hi, my name is Donna, and I'm addicted to Law & Order.
It all started when our teacher would show us excerpts of the show in my Business Law class senior year in high school. Ever since then I just can't get enough of it. I love the spin-offs, and I would willingly bear Jerry Orbach's lovechild.

Chris Noth -- The show was/is GREAT with or without him... But, OMG, he's hot and enough reason to give thanks for Law and Order... And, I'll even admit that Sam Waterston (sp?), aka Jack McCoy, is hot for an older man.
I much prefer the original. But, I do watch SVU as well. Criminal Intent sucks as far as I am concerned. It just doesn't do it for me.

i completely agree with you. criminal intent does suck. it is boring. i am honestly surprised it is still on. but i guess with a 'law and order' name, it is hard to go.
and i do also believe that sam waterston is an older man hottie
the hottest 'law and order' man is without a doubt.......christopher meloni. holy cow that man is fine. yesterday i saw one of the early episodes of SVU, and he was in nothing but his underwear!! very strange for 'law and order', but i didnt care!!!!

I prefer the original L&O over the spinoffs.
Oooh, it's on in ten minutes!

I used to watch it a lot. I've seen a few episodes recently, and its still a really well done series. Even with the cast changes, the feel of the show, as well as the quality hasn't diminished.
Does anyone remember the show Homocide: Life on the Streets that was set in Baltimore? They did a few epsiodes with the Law & Order and Homocide characters interwoven, and the Munch character is originally from Homocide.
Homocide, in my opinion, was the best TV show of the 1990s.

Jerry Orbach gets the best one-liner on the show.
I watch all three shows and I enjoy them very much.
