screen name
Not looking for any responses - just love the fact that all of us have screen names that show our love for the letters/symbols! Especially - Hootie- that one is too cute! Sue

Thank you so much Sue! Here's a little story as to why I chose the name (Hootie). My chapter has a stuffed owl (not real of course) that towards the end of meeting one sister will pass onto another. We lovingly have named him Hootie...
I can't tell you how many times Hootie has been passed but I think the most memorable time was when one of our sisters decided to give him a bath (in the washing machine)and then put him in the dryer. When she came to meeting the following week she appologized for how he looked, but we all laughed...Hootie now has a little afro! Anyways, back to what Sue said. I agree...there are a lot of cute names!!!

ISU_XO,
We are definetely going on a road trip for spring break. We always drive down to florida, and try to stop at houses along the way. We were hoping to make a weekend trip somewhere soon. I would love to see the houses down south too. One of our sisters said the house at Alambama is incredible!!!

Back on nicknames- do you (a) have a guy who is your male version of a sweetheart and (b) what do you call him. Ours was the Omega Chi Guy! Every month I would do a "Hootyville Flyer" and annouce the Omega Chi Guy for the month. It was the best idea I ever had because every guy wanted the title! (So I got just a little attention ha ha!)

Emily-are you doing a Spring Break road trip or just a weekend? I don't know about you but I would love to see/stay at some of the houses down south. From what I read on this board- not only is the greek system huge down there but their houses are amazing.

Where in Florida are you going? I usually spend my Spring Break in Panama City Beach. My family has a place down there. I live in Mobile so Pensacola is pretty close too. Anyway, all the sorority houses here are the same - the University has only one approved design. We've won the House award for the last couple of years so the house must be really nice.
