It's definitely dirty rushing. She practically promised you a bid -- one of the most common types of dirty rushing.
You may not have a problem with it, but it could result in serious consequences for this chapter -- and it'd suck if you got involved in it in any way. No member is to ever say ANYTHING of that sort to a PNM.
This girl has no absolute control over membership selection, so there's no guarantee you'll even get a bid even if you go and meet more members like she told you to.
Go to their COR events with an open mind and be yourself. I joined my org. via COR and found that it was a more comfortable and enjoyable experience than formal recruitment.
Putting all your chips in the pot just because some girl told you that you're guaranteed a bid might spell disaster. Go in with an open mind and just go through recruitment by the book. That is all.
