Post UWG Pike here!

Hey my fellow Pike Brothers!
Just wanted to let you guys know that there is at least one more Pike on the GC board! I'm part of the Eta Sigma Chapter at the State University of West Georgia...you may have read our re-chartering article in the Spring issue of the Shield and Diamond. We're back on campus after a 5-year absence and have really dominated ever since recolonization. We won the IM all-sports championship this year (after placing 2nd last year as a colony), have the SGA President and IFC VP, and rolled up over 3,000 hours of community service this year.

If any of you guys want to trade ideas, problems or advice, let me know.

In the Bonds...

Hey UGW Pike,

Congratulations on having what sounds like an outstanding chapter. I come from a chapter that does no community service, usually gets raped in IM sports, has the second lowest greek gpa, and has virtually no programming. Of course I won't reveal what chapter I am.

But once again, congratulations to you and your chapter.

Thumbs up

Congrats to the Eta Sigma Chapter!! It is good to see that you are doing so well! A little advice I would like to throw your way is to make sure to abide by the rules of your university, this is the quickest ways to get thrown on probation if not worse. My chapter had another fraternity bring a keg to one of our parties and when it was busted by the cops we took the wrap for the keg (we aren't allowed to have kegs at parties). We were then thrown on probation and told to do over 4000 hours of community service. Our numbers dropped from around 50 to 17 members all within in a years time!!! Now two years later we are pushing close to 50 members are out of debt and have the strong chapter on our campus, so please BE CAREFUL!!
