Spring Break
Gentlemen,
For those of you who don't know, South Padre Island is definetly the place to be for Spring Break. I went for the first time this past week, it was awesome! The Lambda Chi's were everywhere and came from everywhere. I met brothers from Colorado State, UPENN, A&M- Kingsville, A&M, Tarleton State, West Texas A&M, and met some more brother's from SWT. It was great, if you are still on spring break or your spring break is coming up soon, I would definetly try to make a trip to SPI. It's a great time! There are so many damn beautiful women! Words can't even express! Anybody got any good spring break stories?

Spring Break
To the Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha,
I just wanted to drop a short note and let you all know how impressed I was with a couple of your brothers that I met while on spring break- Panama City Beach Fla. The fun was that the men we met were from several of your different chapters!
My sisters of Alpha Xi Delta University of Toledo and I had a total blast! We wish you had a chapters here!!
Best wishes to all and sending out a little Xi Love!

my spring break 2001
Best spring break EVER. Best road trip EVER. two words...WOW WOW. this best trip of my life was my freshman year spring break. one of the guys i was rushing with (Jeremy McKeen) came over to my dorm room and asked me...."you wanna drive to california this spring break with me?" i looked at him in the eyes for 2 seconds to see if he was joking, thought it over, and responded with a joyous YES! keep in mind, we live in central florida, and only have 9 days for spring break. we had to make the best of it, so we made our plans and put our priorities in order...
1. get chased by a plolice helicoptor.
2. get on the Price Is Right with Bob Barker and win Jeremy's mom a Dinette Set.
We were on a mission of great accomplishment, and had our goals in mind as we skipped friday's classes, said goodbye cruel world, and cranked up his car and headed toward Burbank california. the thng was, my father strictly forbade me going, so i had to keep in contact with him from "miami - with my girlfriend." anyway, pensacola brought us problems as the campus safety caught us jumping the campus fence in order to find a friend to crash with that night. the Cops ended escorting us offcampus, and giving us a lot of crap. well, 3 days later, and 3 nights worth of sleeping in his nissan, we pull up into UCLA LXA house and stroled in and asked them if we could stay there. they hooked us up with bunks and total food priviledges. we made a week of it in LA, ending with a trip to NBC studios, and finally getting on the contestants row of the price is right. Jeremy ended up winning a dinette set for his mom, and we were both grinnning ear to ear as we thanked the UCLA brothers, and headed home for monday classes. we made ourselves get back to florida 2 hours before classes started at 8 in the morning by staying an extra night in Las Vegas, dealing with more police trouble in BFE Texas, and getting chased out of a hotel fro breaking in and taking much needed showers. needless to say, it was the best trip ive ever been on, with more stories than i can fit on this page. lets just say, when we ran up the total bill for the trip, we ended up profiting (including gas, food, a parking ticket, a speeding ticket, and the many pairs of aviator glasses we collected for the rest of out rush class) from our 9 day experience through the many donations of local suppliers along the way. hmm-hmm. we had a great time, and learned what it was to pick up stones along the way. if you guys dont get that, ask our chapter's kappa for the insight. living with a fellow LXA on the road for 9 days straight in a 7 by 5 confined area is by far the best way i can imagine spending my spring break...now...where to next semester...?
in ZAX,
grits hall

ChaChiLXA,
Glad you enjoyed the company of your brothers from A&M-Kingsville. Those guys are truly awesome - a bunch of fun & cool guys! I just transferred from that school and I miss them so much (so does my boyfriend.. he's a LambdaChi from that chapter also). I haven't met the LambdaChi's from this school, but I'm sure eventually I will run into them.
