So what's everybody wearing?

One of the things I love and hate most about Recruitment is shopping for specific clothing. Love because shopping is fun, but hate because sometimes I'm not a huge fan of what we're supposed to wear. I got out of it this year, being a recruitment counselor, but I'm actually kind of sad because my chapter is keeping the outfits I love and replacing the ones I don't like with ones I do... figures they'd do it the year I'm not participating! But now I'm curious, whether you're an active or a PNM, what are you wearing for Recruitment?

Well the since the entire week is in the middle of August in Florida, everything I am wearing is trying to be as cool as possible while looking conservative and classy. Hopefully I will be able to wear all the outfits I buy and not let them go to waste! lol

The first day which is the most casual, I am planning on wearing a simple polo shirt (not sure what brand or color) with a cute jean mini (thats not too short of course). Along with that, either heels or cute sandals to wear in the houses with a fair of flip flops to do my walking in. Jewelry will probably consist of my necklace and bracelet set from Tiffanys and a simple pair of diamond studs. I am wanting to straighten my hair, but with as muggy as it is outside I don't want it to frizz so I might scrunch it.

The second day which is a little dressier than the first. I am planning on wearing white or khaki capris with a pastel or summery top with matching comfy, heeled sandals. Probably matching jewelry and/or earrings. Hair depending on the day before.

The third day: I am planning on wearing a sundress. I am wearing (probably) a classic string of pearls around my neck and matching shoes.

The fourth day is Pref Night. I was planning on wearing a black dress, but then I thought I would wear a different color so I might stand out from the rest if everyone else is wearing black. It will probably be a blue or a color that goes really good with my blonde hair. Hair might be rolled to give it a dressier look than the other days.

Definitely open for peoples input though!!

all the outfits sound really cute, and like you have put a lot of thought into them. i would vote for a non-black dress for prefs, so that you stand out, just as you stated. many of the sororities will be wearing black for prefs. and probably lots of the pnms too, so going with a different color could work to your advantage.

PNM's-- I wouldn't recommend going into specifics about what you are wearing... sorority women from your school may be reading these boards. Be discreet.
