On A & E they had a whole retrospective of the character and all the people who played Superman (Christopher Reeve the man was yummy). I think it is coming on this friday night. But it is a good lead into the movie with the newest person playing Kal-el. Dana Reeve sent him something some time before she passed to sort of "pass the legacy" on to him. I hear he carries it well...

Sorry to crash

I saw it yesterday and the movie is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!

Brandon did and amazing job as Superman/Clark Kent. I'm just not feeling the same about Kate Bosworth. I just don't feel she made a really good Lois Lane, but what can you do.

I need people to see it so we can start gossiping about it.

Thumbs up

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

I have to call my brother so we can discuss this movie. The opening scenes in terms of cinematography were impressive.

I was wondering if this was going to be another tired remake but I am going to have to check it out since I've heard nothing but good things.

I am going to see the Superman move tomorrow. However, Batman Begins was an EXCELLENT 'remake', the best of ANY Batman movie I have seen.

The only negative thing about the movie to me is the running time......started at 9:20 but did not get out until midnight. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about the movie.

The movie was approx. 2.5 hours long. My daughter, boyfriend and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Interesting fact:
I rented Superman before seeing Superman Returns. The version of Superman on DVD is 154 minutes (this includes a bit of extra footage that wasn't in the original release). When I'm looking at the movie times I see that Superman Returns was also exactly 154 minutes!

I'm a nerd

I liked the movie a lot. It's even better if you watch the first one. It's actually almost a tribute in a way. A lot of the lines are revived, and Lex Luthor is the same character and makes the same references to Prometheus and "LAND" and "what did my dad tell me?"

A great way to bring Superman back I think.
