Flirt-- very cute idea, but as ADPi's we can't do any kind of search with yarn, multiple clue quest or hunt.
Sister, why not try to do a serenade with a gift exchange during daylight hours that doesn't include candles? For example-- we used to do our candlelighting back in the day and the diamond sis's had matching candles. Why not do something else matching like violet flower pots or alphies or matching shirts? You can sing to the alphas from a circle and the alphas walk through the inside of the circle looking for her "match."
Good luck. I know this new rule throws a kink in some long-standing traditions, but it's wonderful that you're looking for alternate ideas. I am sure you will come up with a fantastic new chapter tradition to reveal the diamond sisters!
Here's one more idea... we do this on initiation morning, but it might be cool to do it for reveal-- during spirit week the deltas get diamond boards and spend the week decorating them with paints and fabric and wood letters with the delta's name, ADPi and a blank space for their soon-to-be diamond sister's name. When you are assigned diamond sisters, the alphas names will go in the appointed spot. At Diamond Reveal, take the completed diamond boards and arrange them in the shape of a larger diamond outside the chapter house-- as each alpha discovers her diamond board, she will discover her diamond sister!
To celebrate a lavaliering, why not serendae the celebrating sister and present her with a bouquet or a special Alphie?
