Question NYC Restaurants

I was invited to go to NYC for three days for an educational trip, and most of accomodations have been taken care of. However, dinners are on our own. We're staying at a hotel on 7th and West 56th. What are some good and not crazy expensive places to have dinner in the nearby vicinity?

What days are you going to be here? The reason I ask is because restaurant week is starting soon, and during that, at participating restaurants, dinners are like $39/person and lunches are $24. Go to http://www.onetable.com, select New York, and see if the dates that you'll be here coincide with Restaurant Week.

I have to give props to one of my alltime favorite restaurants. It's a Greek place on W. 113th Street (between B'way and Amsterdam) called "Symposium". Fantastic food and sangria and lots of it and, best of all, cheap!!! (I don't think it's been discovered by tourists yet, so don't tell anyone )

I'm trying to remember how you'd get there from where you're staying. The M104 bus or the subway redline to 110th Street.

No matter where you end up going, enjoy your time in NY!
