Beginning Day 2006

What are your chapters doing for beginning day this year?

Our City Council is hosting a Ice Cream Social at someone's house.

Ice Cream is being provided by Graeter's(a cincinnatti based ice cream company yum yum) and Cookies by Magee's (a local bakery that ought to have a five star rating..yum yum yum) in addition to live entertainment

Our individual chapter, Beta Psi, is having a family oriented evening at the local ball park here to celebrate the beginning of a new year for our chapter!

We are having a picnic at my mother's home along the river. It's a nice rural setting to get to know each other better. We are also holding elections (late...I know!).

For Beginning day, LA Eta Pi went to the "First Saturday" events in Picayune, MS. That included dinner and shopping at the various antique and gift shops in Picayune's downtown area. We had a lot of fun.

For Online Alpha Phi, I think we're having a virtual picnic, where each member contributes a favorite recipe.
