I was browsing around BarnesandNoble.com and found several books that are histories of Tri Delta in the used or out of print section. Needless to say, I ordered 2. One is from 1888 to 1907, is a 1st edition and was published in Galesburg, IL where I went to school. The 2nd was the centennial history (1888-1988). So I got them yesterday and fell asleep reading them. I was very inspired by them. As an alumni of my chapter, I received a leeter right before Christmas, that the chapter was struggling. I was wondering if some of you who are still in college could let me know if you think that you would be offended if you received a letter from an alum who is trying to motivate you with some of the quotes from this book. I do not personally know any of the girls currently in chapter. My college is very small, when I was there, quota was like 45 tops. Campus swings from pro-greek to anti-greek very quickly (like year to year while I was there) and I think that this is part of the reason that recruitment is difficult.
So other than the pure enjoyment I got from reading the books, I was hoping I could help my chapter. It was such a big part of my college experience.
Thanks
